SPAM E-MAIL ALERT
DO NOT OPEN!!!
RE:YOU HAVE AN IMPORTANT EMAIL FROM BRIAN JOHNSON
| Dear Clients and Colleagues,
It has been brought to my attention that my email has been hacked and there was a phishing scam attempt made that targeted individuals in my contacts list. The scam mimics my email and contains the subject line “YOU HAVE AN IMPORTANT EMAIL FROM BRIAN JOHNSON.” This email is not from me or my office.
If you receive one of these emails, do not open the email and delete it completely from your computer. If you have already opened the email, do not enter any personal information, such as your email and/or password. If you did enter personal information, please take steps to secure that information (for example, changing and strengthening passwords).
I want to assure you that I take your privacy and the confidentiality of our communications very seriously. At the present time, there is no indication that anything other than my email contacts list was compromised. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and I am working diligently to resolve this matter and prevent this from occurring in the future.
